Update: Car hits building in Skippack

Lansdale man not injured, will be cited, police say.

A Lansdale man will be cited in connection with a one-vehicle crash -- in which a building was hit -- in Skippack Township, Thursday afternoon, March 8, according to .

According to a police report, Neal Billman, 64, was driving a '98 Chevrolet S-10 pickup on Route 73/Skippack Pike when "he was distracted after dropping his sandwich." The pickup "veered off ... Route 73 westbound," striking curbs, a parked car, a mailbox, a sign, a boulder, railroad ties, shrubs and a building before coming to rest at , police said. Initial, unofficial reports identified the business as Joey's Skippack Auto Detail.

There were no injuries in a one-car crash on Skippack Pike shortly before noon Thursday.
