Why go: Montgomery County Health Department will send certified car-seat technicians to inspect child safety seats. Learn how to properly install a car seat in your car, and ensure your child is properly restrained in the car seat. Appointments are required by calling 610-278-5119 or email carseat@montcopa.org. Include name, phone number and the number of seats to be checked.

Why go: This multi-family yard sale near Providence Town Center will feature books, clothing, toys, rugs, furniture, accessories and more.

Why go: Lower Frederick Fire Company’s annual golf outing kicks off with a shotgun start with teams of four players.

Pricing: $75 per golfer, includes beverages, green fees, cart, lunch, dinner and awards
