Why go: The gallery at CMS will feature the artwork of Judy Lapas.

Why go: Ursinus’ Meistersingers will present a concert, including works recently performed on a tour of Ireland.

Where/When: Ursinus College – Berman Museum, 785 E. Main St., Collegeville; March 22 at 7 p.m.

Why go: Mary Cappallo, author of a biography about Dr. Chevalier Jackson, will give a lecture titled “Swallow: Foreign Bodies, Their Ingestion, Inspiration and the Curious Doctor Who Extracted Them.” Jackson was the inventor of the life-saving bronchoscope. Following the lecture, Cappallo will sign copies of her book, and there will be a performance by Ursinus students.

Where/When: AAA East Penn, 70 Buckwalter Road, Limerick; March 22-23, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Why go: Most insurance companies offer discounted insurance rates for drivers who complete this two-day, eight-hour safe driving course, and stay current with a refresher course every three years.

Pricing: $15 AAA members (add $5 for member’s spouse), $25 nonmembers
