Ready or not, here comes the weekend! Just in time, Patch has scoured your local events calendar and picked out the five best bets for the coming week. Get out and enjoy summer!

1.

Where/When: The Stoogeum, 904 Sheble Lane, Ambler; Sept. 3, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: The word’s only museum of Three Stooges memorabilia, doesn’t have regular operating hours but has an open house about once a month, to give you a chance to see the museum’s almost 100,000 pieces.

Pricing: Free admission, but donations are appreciated

2.

Where/When: Michaels, Water Street Road, Collegeville; Sept. 3, 10 a.m. to noon

Why Go: Make a handmade card to celebrate Grandparents’ Day. For ages 3 and up, while supplies last.

Pricing: Free

Where/When: Downtown Skippack; Sept. 2, 5 to 9 p.m.

Why Go: In honor of the first Friday of the month, many businesses will offer live music, extended hours, special activities or refreshments.

Pricing: Free

 

4.

Where/When: Foy Park, Main Street, Spring Mount; Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.

Why Go: Experience the joy of cross-country walking in the great outdoors.

Pricing: Free for Lower Frederick residents, $25 non-residents, pole rentals $5 per class

 

5.

Where/When: 460 E. Main St., Collegeville; every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: With 20 farmers and vendors selling in-season fruits and vegetables, baked goods, cheeses, local wines, and much more, this farm market has something for everyone.

Pricing: Free admission
