Where/When: Univest, 595 W. Main St., Collegeville; April 7, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Why go: If you’re considering buying a home in the neat future, Univest invites you to come for advice from mortgage and real estate professionals.

Where/When: Perk Valley Pet Eatery, 325 W. Main St., Collegeville; April 7, 6:30 pm.

Why go: Show up a few minutes before 6:30 p.m. with your pooch, and walk the trail with other dog-lovers and their best friends. Retractable leashes are prohibited, and the trail requires the use of a six-foot or shorter lead. Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations.

Pricing: $5 donation requested for local pet rescue

Where/When: Methacton High School, 1001 Kriebel Mill Road, Eagleville; April 8, 7 p.m.

Why go: MHS’ Warrior’s Performance Group presents Azizi Life A Performance for the Women of Rwanda, a compilation of poetry, dance and drama to celebrate the human spirit.

Pricing: $5, available at the door

Where/When: Norristown Presbyterian Church, 608 N. Trooper Road, Norristown; April 9, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why go: Kids Wee-Cycle has organized a consignment sale, with lots of baby, children’s and maternity items for sale. Cash only. For the last hour, selected items will be sold at half price.

Where/When: Montgomery County Community College, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell; April 11, 6 to 8 p.m.

Why go: In conjunction with the April 13, Montgomery County Community College will hold a workshop to prepare job seekers for the search.
