Look for the planner each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips—just add them to the comment box. If you’re having a family event, please let us know!

Where/When: Perkiomen Valley Library, 290 Second St., Schwenksville; Feb. 24 and every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Why go: Library volunteers will present stories, crafts and games for the whole family.

Where/When: Perkiomen Valley Middle School East, 100 Kagey Road, Collegeville, Feb. 25-26

Why go: Students will present The Wizard of Oz, based on the book by L. Frank Baum. Showtimes are Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday at 6 p.m.

Where/When: Montgomery County Community College, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell; Feb. 27 at 3 p.m.

Why go: As part of the college’s ongoing Lively Arts Series, MCCC will host the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, a special ensemble of the acclaimed Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.

Where/When: Montgomery County Cooperative Extension, 1015 Bridge Road, Collegeville; Mondays, beginning Feb. 28 through April 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: The Toastmasters course will increase students’ confidence, and give them skills in public speaking, running meetings and elections, great skills for club officers. Open to teens ages 14 to 19.
