Local Stations Mourn Firefighters Killed In Kensington

Just days removed from the death of two Philadelphia Firefighters at a Kensington blaze, fire brethren mourned their fallen peers.

From Philadelphia Fire Ladder Company 10, Lt. Robert Neary, 60, and Firefighter Daniel Sweeney, 25, were killed fighting a five-alarm warehouse fire on Tuesday.

Services were held for both firefighters Saturday.

Throughout the city and suburbs, -- including Perkiomen Valley -- fire companies raised flags at half staff to honor Neary and Sweeney. Others hung black bunting.
