Lower Frederick Man Heading Back to Jail After Fatal DUI Crash

Kyle Michael Rudderow, who was jailed for driving drunk and killing his passenger in 2004, is facing two years in jail after a second DUI conviction, according to Montgomerynews.com.

Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gary Silow sentenced Rudderow, of Big Road in Lower Frederick, to 11-and-a-half to 23 months in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, plus three years of probation and 100 hours of community service for a 2011 DUI.

In September of 2005, Rudderow, 30, was sentenced to 18 to 36 months in county jail after he plead guilty to driving drunk and causing a 2004 crash that killed his then-roommate, Keith LaCava.

The second incident occured in June of  2011, when Upper Perkiomen Police stated that Rudderow was intoxicated behind the wheel of his Chevrolet Mailibu at the intersection of Main Street and W. Fifth Ave in Pennsburg.

Rudderow's attorney told the court that, since the 2011 incident, Rudderow sought inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment and has been sober.
