Fixtures stolen, vandalism incidents, DUI, theft

The following items include information provided by the Skippack Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

House stripped in Worcester

A stove, a 50-gallon water heater, and an outdoor air conditioning unit were stolen from a house owned by a Collegeville man, police said.

The person or persons gained entry to the house on Bethel Road through a rear kitchen door. The thefts occurred sometime between midday on Tuesday, May 31 and midday on Wednesday, June 6. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 610-584-1250.

Patio furniture dunked in Skippack

A resident of Reginald Lane discovered that between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 and 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, a person or persons entered a fenced area in the rear of his property and deposited his patio furniture and an unspecified number of potted plants into his swimming pool.

Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 610-584-1250 and reference incident K03-1856631.

Collegeville man charged with DUI on Route 422

A Collegeville man was charged with DUI on the evening of Sunday, June 3 after rear-ending a car that was stopped for the traffic light at the end of the Royersford/Trappe exit ramp on the eastbound lanes of Route 422 in Limerick.

State Police responded to the crash scene and arrested Arthur Matthew Parker, 68.

Purse snatched from car in Schwenksville

A Schwenksville woman reported that her purse was taken from her unlocked car in the vicinity of 700 Main Street in Schwenksville between 9:50 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. on Friday, June 8. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 610-584-1250.

Car vandalized in Rahns

An unknown person or persons vandalized a Nissan Pathfinder belonging to a Schwenksville woman while it was parked on the 100 block of Oak Street in the Rahns section of Perkiomen Township. The car was scratched on both sides sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 and 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 10. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 610-584-1250 and to reference incident K03-1856611.
