Police Investigating Upper Hanover Craigslist Scam
Money stolen after victim purchased a truck through the classified advertising website
An Upper Hanover man had an unknown amount stolen after responding to a fraudulent Craigslist ad for a 2001 Ford Truck, according to a report.
The 52-year-old victim from Cedar Lea Lane communicated with the e-mail address Justin.stewart47@gmail.com on Aug. 5 to purchase the truck, and did not receive the truck after making a payment, according to the report.
