Second Attempted Child Luring Reported in PVSD
Perkiomen Valley School District sent a message to alert parents

Perkiomen Valley School District alerted parents that child luring incident since early August was reported in the area.
According to the message, the alerted the school district that the report of a suspicious person, and possible child luring, occurred on the afternoon of Aug. 30 on Wartman Road in Perkiomen Township.
The Pennsylvania State Police reported that just after a 12-year-old male resident got off the school bus and entered his residence, an unknown man knocked on the locked door and asked for help in finding his lost puppy. The resident did not answer the door, and the unknown man left the property in his vehicle.
The unknown man was described as a Caucasian male in his 20's with a scruffy goatee. He was wearing a blue hat, white shirt and blue sweatpants, and he was driving what police described to be a light grey, newer model Ford Focus.
Police are asking for information on this incident - please contact 610-584-1250. The school asked that parents discuss this with children to reiterate the importance of safety when dealing with strangers.
