Underage Driver Arrested on DUI Suspicion
Harleysville girl arrested in Salford Township after colliding with a boulder on Hill Road.

A 17-year-old Harleysville girl was arrested under the suspicion of DUI on July 3 after crashing into a boulder on Hill Road between Hausman and North Dietz Mill Roads, according to a Pennsylvania State Police Report.
The girl, accompanied by another underage female passenger and 18-year-old Kathryn Day, both from Harleysville, failed to "negotiate a left curve" and struck a boulder with the left front end of her 1995 Ford Escort, according to the report.
The report states that the driver sustained a minor hand injury and both passengers were uninjured. They were all wearing seatbelts.

The driver exhibited indications of impairment and will be charged with DUI in Montgomery County Juvenile Court pending lab results.
