1 Killed In Shooting Outside Philly Pizza Shop Early Thursday

The deadly shooting may have stemmed from a fender bender outside Pete's Pizza on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue early Thursday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A shooting outside a Philadelphia Pizza shop left one man dead early Thursday morning in Philadelphia, and authorities said the shooting may have stemmed from a fender bender.

Shot was a 26-year-old man at about 12:05 a.m. outside Pete's Pizza on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue, according to authorities.

The gunman has not been apprehended, and anyone with information on the shooter should contact Philadelphia police at 215-686-8477. A $20,000 reward is offered for information leading to arrests and convictions in all Philadelphia homicides.

Police said the incident began with a minor vehicle crash that may have involved road rage, according to Action News.

The two vehicles pulled over in front of the business, where the drivers argued before going into the shop. When inside, a physical altercation broke out, and that's when the gunman shot the victim in the head, NBC10 reports.

The gunman, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, drove off in a dark-colored SUV, according to Fox 29.
