2 Sought In Double Shooting That Killed Teen, Hurt Another

Philadelphia Police are looking for two men in connection with a March 27 shooting that took the life of a 16-year-old boy and hurt another.

PHILADELPHIA — A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a double shooting that hurt one teen and killed another last week in Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred at about 6:37 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of East Wister Street.

Shot were two boys, one 16 and the other 17, with the 16-year-old boy dying from his injuries, police said. The 17-year-old boy was seriously hurt in the shooting.

Police said two male suspects were seen on the surveillance video footage.

One suspect is believed to be 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.

The other suspect is believed to be 5 feet 10 inches tot 6 feet 1 inch tall with a heavier build. He was also wearing what appeared to be a medical walking boot type device on his right foot during the incident.

The two were seen running from the area on foot, turning southbound on Wakefield Street, and then eastbound on East Garfield Street.
