2nd Person Charged In 'Execution' Killings Near Historic Mansion
Philly Police said a 56-year-old woman is charged with murder and more in relation to the killings of Thurston Cooper and Krystina Chambers.
PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia said a second person has been charged in connection with the "execution" of a man and woman near a historic mansion in Fairmount Park.
Police Thursday announced Dale Johnson, 56, was charged with murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and criminal conspiracy for her role in the killings of Thurston Cooper, 49, and Krystina Chambers, 38.
Cooper and Chambers were found with gunshots to their heads at about 10:58 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, on the 3800 block of Mount Pleasant Drive, near the Mount Pleasant Mansion, police said.

Also charged is Lamar Young, 52 years old, from 4800 block of North 12th Street.
Police he's been charged with two counts of murder, criminal conspiracy, firearms violations, and related offenses stemming from his involvement in the killings.

Police described the killings as "execution style," Fox 29 reports.
Medics pronounced them dead at the scene at 11:12 pm.
It's unclear if Young is the man depicted in photos released by police in the wake of the killings.
