Man Sought In Mt Pleasant Mansion Killings Taken In: Police
Philadelphia Police Monday said the man they were seeking in connection with the killings was taken into custody, but no charges were filed.

PHILADELPHIA — The man police were seeking in connection with two "execution" style killings near the historic Mt. Pleasant Mansion in Fairmount Park has been taken into custody, Philadelphia Police said.
Police Monday evening said the man seen above was taken into custody, but charges were not filed.
He was sought in connection with the deaths of Thurston Cooper, 49, of the 1500 block of Chew Avenue, and Krystina Chambers, 38, of the 500 block of Devereaux Avenue. The two were found with gunshots to their heads at about 10:58 p.m. Thursday on the 3800 block of Mount Pleasant Drive.

Police described the killings as "execution style," Fox 29 reports.
Medics pronounced them dead at the scene at 11:12 pm.
