PHILADELPHIA — Many a millennial watched the oddball, late night programming block Adult Swim on Cartoon Network broadcast some of the weirdest and out there TV shows as kids.

Now, nearly 20 years later, the once cult hit turned uber-successful programming block is stepping out of the TV and into Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood with the Adult Swim Festival.

Kicking off Friday afternoon and lasting through the weekend, the festival is featuring live music, comedy, and panels highlighting some of Adult Swim's most popular shows.

Other local acts performing during the festival include Hop Along and SNACKTIME PHILLY.

For fans of Adult Swim's irreverent shows, there are panels featuring the cast and crews of "Rick & Morty," "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," and "Smiling Friends."

As for the comedy shows, stand up performances by Brandon Wardell, Jo Firestone, Conner O'Malley, Shane Torres, Rosebud Baker, and more are slated throughout the weekend.

Tickets for all these events are available online here.

Ticketed events will be taking place at The Fillmore Philly, The Foundry, Punch Line Philly and Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. Buying a ticket to any of the live shows gains access throughout the weekend to the Adult Swim Block Party located at the Fillmore Campus and Other Half Brewing.

Single-day and weekend long passes are also available online here.

The block party area will feature food trucks, cornhole, a beer garden at Other Half, outdoor and indoor screenings, giant blow up Rick and Morty, a human claw machine for a chance to get free sawg, and even a limited-edition Pickle Rick Frosty from Wendy's, which will also be offering free breakfast menu samples.

Adult Swim and Other Half Brewing teamed up to offer a limited edition pale ale called [adult beer]. The brew will be available for a limited time leading up to and during the Adult Swim Festival exclusively at the Other Half taproom and other festival locations.
