'Always Sunny' Stars To Record Live Podcast In Philadelphia Sept 18
"Always Sunny" stars Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney, will be in the city to record a live episode of their rewatch podcast.
PHILADELPHIA — If you say "Philadelphia" to someone from outside the region, chances are they think of a few things: overzealous sports fans, cheesesteaks, the Liberty Bell, and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
And soon, the stars of the long-running dark sitcom are coming to Philadelphia for a live event.
"Always Sunny" stars Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney (a Philly native), will be in the city to record a live episode of their rewatch podcast, "The Always Sunny Podcast."

The three stars will be at The Met Philadelphia for a live recording of the podcast on Sunday, Sept. 18.
"The Always Sunny Podcast" is an unofficial look back on the past 15 seasons of the hit show hosted by Howerton (Dennis), Day (Charlie), and McElhenney (Mac).

Starting with the first episode, they watch every season and give a deep dive into their memories of creating the show, reveal how they first met, and discuss how they formed a lasting partnership that has endured the better part of two decades.
That is if they can remember any of it.
Before the Philly show, the comedic trio will also hold a live recording at the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, Sept. 17.
“We’re really excited to take this show on the road, and bring the Podcast to Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville and the iconic Met Philadelphia," Howerton said. "There’s nothing we enjoy more than being in the same room as all the amazing Sunny fans out there!"
