Artists Announced For Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show
Advanced ticket sales are open now for the 46th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show in November.

PHILADELPHIA, PA —The 2022 roster of fine contemporary craft artists has been announced for the upcoming Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. Selected from over 500 juried submissions, 195 of the finest craft artists from across the US will be coming to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia this November to exhibit and sell their work. The 2022 jurors were Allison Barnett (Patina Gallery, Santa Fe, NM), Chad Curtis (Associate Dean and Associate Professor Ceramics, Temple University, Tyler Art & Architecture), Bruce Hoffman (Director, Gravers Lane Gallery in Philadelphia), and Andrew Page (Editor - Glass Quarterly Magazine).
Show organizers are deep in the planning and preparation stages and are thrilled to share the preview of this year’s artists, now viewable on the Craft Show website, www.pmacraftshow.org. Representing 31 states plus 34 artists from right here in the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region, there are 13 categories of fine craft including ceramics, furniture, jewelry, fiber, wood, metal, emerging artists, and more.

“This year’s Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show brings an added level of enthusiasm to everyone involved,” said Melissa Clark, show chair of the 2022 PMA Craft Show. “We’re looking forward to being fully in person in 2022. I'm excited for our audience and our artists to be able to participate together in the show’s long tradition of bringing fine contemporary craft to Philadelphia.”
Tickets sales are now open for the Craft Show which takes place Friday, November 11 – Sunday November 13, and for the preview party on Thursday, November 10, a beloved night before gala event and awards ceremony. Purchasing tickets to the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show directly helps support the work of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Returning to the show this year by popular demand will be the artist meet & greets, a special feature of the PMA Craft Show that brings artist and audience together to explore the art and the artist behind the craft in more depth and detail.

Philadelphia is highly regarded for museum quality contemporary craft and design, and the PMA Craft Show is one of the city’s premier events. Now in its 46th year, The PMA Craft Show, presented by The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, has raised over $14 million in its long history. As the largest single fundraiser for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, funds raised from the Craft Show help support museum initiatives, including art and fine craft acquisitions, special exhibitions, educational programs, and acquiring state-of-the-art equipment.

The 46th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show features 195 contemporary fine craft artists from across the United States. Held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Craft Show is produced by The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As the biggest single fundraiser of the year for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the event has raised over $14 million dollars over its 45-year history. Proceeds from ticket sales help support museum initiatives, including education and community outreach projects, art and fine craft acquisitions, state-of-the-art equipment, and special exhibitions.
