Beheaded Pot-Belly Pig Found Tied Up In Northeast Philadelphia
The pig was found tied up and beheaded in the Fox Chase-Burholme neighborhood Monday, according to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

PHILADELPHIA — A pot-bellied pig was found beheaded and tied up in Northeast Philadelphia Monday and now the Pennsylvania SPCA is asking for help getting more information on the incident.
The SPCA said the pig was found Monday in the Fox Chase-Burholme neighborhood.
After getting a referral from Philadelphia Police, the Pennsylvania SPCA's Humane Law Enforcement team found the pig beheaded in of a dog crate on Monday in the Fox Chase-Burholme neighborhood.

Due to the rarity of pot-bellied pigs in the city, the PSPCA is hoping someone will provide information on the pig.
"This pig suffered greatly prior to death being bound and then decapitated," said Nicole Wilson, Director of Humane Law Enforcement at the Pennsylvania SPCA. "This crime was committed by an individual, or individuals, who simply wanted to do something cruel for the sake of cruelty."

The PSPCA is asking for help from anyone who may know individuals to have a pot-bellied pig, or anyone who witnessed the incident.
