Free Vaccines Available For Veterans' Pets In Philadelphia
In honor of Veterans Day, the PSPCA and No Dog Gets Left Behind are offering free vaccines to veterans' or active service members' pets.
PHILADELPHIA — To honor the country's veterans and their furry friends, the Pennsylvania SPCA and No Dog Gets Left Behind are partnering to host a free vaccine clinic pets of veterans and active military personnel in celebration of Veterans Day.
The event, which will be hosted on a first come, first served basis, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters.
As part of the celebration of those who serve, free vaccines — Rabies, Distemper, Dewormer — will be offered to the pets of the first 150 veterans or active military members in attendance.

In addition to vaccines, pet food and pet resources will also be available on-site.
Military identification will be required for participation, and all free vaccines will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In the case of extreme weather, a rain date has been set for Thursday, Nov. 18.
The Pennsylvania SPCA headquarters is located at 350 E. Erie Ave. in Philadelphia.
