Hit-And-Run Critically Injures Girl, 9, In North Philly Monday
Police said a 9-year-old girl on her bike was struck by a vehicle that drove off Monday night. She is in critical condition, police said.
PHILADELPHIA – A 9-year-old girl was critically injured in a hit-and-run that occurred Monday night in North Philadelphia and now Philadelphia Police are searching for the vehicle and driver.
Police said the incident occurred at 7:26 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of Lindley Avenue.
The striking vehicle was described as a gold 2010 to 2016 Cadillac SRX Crossover.

Police said the vehicle fled the area heading east on Ashdale Street after striking the girl.

The vehicle has a broken grill with a missing top trim piece, hood damage, and possible windshield damage on the passenger's side, police said.
