Homicide Suspect Shot By Philly Police Tuesday Night: Reports

Spencer Majett, wanted for the deadly shooting of a New Jersey woman, was shot by police after a chase and confrontation Tuesday evening.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia shot a man they have been searching for in connection with the deadly shooting of an innocent bystander that occurred earlier this month.

According to Action News, Philadelphia Police officers shot Spencer Majett early Tuesday evening on the 3100 block of Reach Street in Kensington.

Majett was wanted for the fatal Oct. 8 shooting of Felicity Vanatta, 23, of Penns Grove, New Jersey, NBC10 reports.

Police saw Majett, but he ran off, prompting a chase that led to a confrontation, during which shots were fired, Fox 29 reports.

Majett is reportedly in critical condition.
