Man Wanted For Killing Philly Sanitation Worker In Custody: Feds
The U.S. Marshals Service took Rasheem Trusty into custody Tuesday in connection with the November killing of Ikeem Johnson.

PHILADELPHIA — A man wanted for shooting and killing an on-duty sanitation worker in Philadelphia was taken into custody by federal authorities Tuesday.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Rasheem Trusty, 31, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on the 6900 block of Frankford Avenue.
Trust was sought in connection with the Nov. 18, 2022, shooting death of Ikeem Johnson, a 35-year-old five-year member of the city's Streets Department.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at about 10:33 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 on the 7300 block of Rowland Avenue.
Police said a man got the sanitation truck Johnson was working on to stop, came up to the truck's passenger side where Johnson was, and Johnson got out.

Outlaw said that's when the man shot Johnson several times.
Police believed Johnson was targeted.
Nushar Scott was also wanted in connection with Johnson's killing, but he was taken into custody in January on murder and related charges tied to Johnson's death.
