Mark Zuckerberg Visits Pat's King Of Steaks

The Facebook founder's choice of Pat's is sure to stir controversy. What other Philly foods should he have tried? Tell us in the comments.

PHILADELPHIA – Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, visited Philadelphia recently and made a stop to get a cheesesteak.

But his comment is sure to draw ire from some area natives who are passionate about their steaks.

On Facebook, Zuckerberg posted a photo of himself at the cheesesteak window of Pat's King of Steaks.

Zuckerberg said he went to Pat's for the "best cheesesteak in the land."

Accoridng to Philly.com, he ordered six steaks with Cheez Whiz and fried onions and did so correctly, saying he wanted a "whiz wit." Well done.

With debates about politics, the NFL, religion, and basically every other topic raging on Facebook all the time, you'd think the social media magnate would know his comment would cause even more debate.

Many people love Pat's and its kitty-corner rival Geno's, but some Philadlephians don't bother with the purported "best" in Philly.

Dalessandro's in Roxborough was voted the best cheesesteak in Philly by Philadelphians in the Best of Philly annual poll from Philadelphia Magazine. Other, less publicized favorites are John's Roast Pork, Shank's, and Steve's.
