More Anti-ICE Protesters Descend On Philly ICE Building

Two weeks after people were cited at an anti-ICE protest at 8th and Cherry streets, about two dozen protesters showed up Wednesday.

PHILADELPHIA – Anti-ICE protesters are not letting the recent arrests and police break up of a protest encampment as about two dozen more protesters descended on the ICE building Wednesday morning.

Protesters showed up the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building at 8th and Cherry Streets Wednesday.

Anti-ICE protesters call for the abolition of the agency, the closure of a detainment center in Berks County, and the city to end its crime data sharing with ICE. District Attorney Larry Krasner himself said he will not support continuing that partnership.
