NBC10 Anchor Delivers Baby After Delivering News
Rosemary Connors went live on air at 6 p.m. Saturday, then after the newscast, headed to the delivery room to welcome her new baby girl.
PHILADELPHIA — The news doesn't stop for anyone, but neither does a newborn child.
That rang true for NBC10 weekend anchor Rosemary Connors.
Connors recently gave birth to a new baby girl, named Evelyn Rose.

But not before she informed the people of the greater Philadelphia area of the surrounding goings-on.
Connors delivered the news to the NBC10 audience at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

She was set to go live at 11 p.m. that night, but Evelyn Rose wasn't going to wait for a second round of news.
"She came about a week early… and ended my work day early," Connors said on social media. "I anchored the 6PM newscast, but couldn’t stay for the 11PM"
In addition to Evelyn Rose, Connors and her husband Ben have a son, Benny.
She will be back to anchor weekend newscasts in the new year, NBC10 said.
Connors is a Wynnewood native and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
She has been with NBC10 since 2009.
