The infected traveler never left the airport, but city and state health teams are tracking a wider measles surge across Pennsylvania.
   

3. 2 men hurt in separate Philadelphia shootings less than 10 minutes apart (nbcphiladelphia.com) — Overnight in Philadelphia, two men were wounded in separate shootings less than 10 minutes apart, one on North 55th Street and another linked to a large fight on North Cleveland Street. Both victims, ages 31 and 48, are in stable condition at local hospitals. Police have made no arrests and are asking Philadelphians with information to contact the department or submit anonymous tips.
   

4. Philadelphia 'House of Horrors' search could disrupt neighborhood (newsnationnow.com) — Police are preparing an extensive new search of a so‑called "House of Horrors" in Philadelphia's Alden neighborhood, a move expected to significantly disrupt nearby streets and sidewalks. Councilman Anthony Phillips says neighbors will be briefed on restrictions, timelines, and safety concerns as investigators dig for evidence tied to missing women and consider broader efforts to raise awareness about missing-person cases citywide.
   

5. Philadelphia teacher lied for years about being Black: 'I am a white woman of significant privilege and wealth' (sandrarose.com) — A Philadelphia public high school teacher and activist has admitted she falsely claimed for years to be a Black Palestinian, despite actually being a white Jewish woman of privilege. Her confession, prompted by local activist groups, has rocked the Workshop School community and broader Philadelphia education circles, raising questions about trust, identity, and accountability in local activism spaces.
