Philly Native Quinta Brunson Hosting 'Saturday Night Live'

The award-winning writer, actor, and comedian from Philadelphia will host the show this weekend with musical guest Lil Yachty.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia's newest famous native is hosting "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

Quinta Brunson, who was born and raised in West Philadelphia, will host the shot Saturday with musical guest Lil Yatchy.

For those unaware, the show airs at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC.

"Saturday Night Live" will also livestream on Peacock.

Brunson was named to Time's 100 most influential people list for "Abbott Elementary."

She won the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series Emmy at the 74th Primetime Emmys back in 2022.

Her work on "Abbott" garnered numerous other awards, including the NAACP Image Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
