Ride SEPTA Home For Free From Eagles NFC Championship Game Sunday

Unibet is providing free rides on SEPTA's Broad Street Line Sunday after the Eagles take on the San Francisco 49ers.

PHILADELPHIA — Eagles fans who are lucky enough to attend the NFC Championship game Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field can get free rides home on SEPTA's Broad Street Line.

Online sports betting company Unibet is sponsoring free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line.

NRG Station provides service to venues at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia, including Lincoln Financial Field.

Free rides from NRG Station will be available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers at the Linc is at 3 p.m.

Regular fares apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the game.

SEPTA will accommodate passengers traveling to the game with extra trains on the Broad Street Line.

This Sports Express service will run every 10 minutes beginning at 11:10 a.m., with trips starting at Fern Rock Station and stopping at Olney, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall, and Walnut-Locust Stations before reaching NRG Station.

Sports Express supplements regularly scheduled Broad Street Line service.

"SEPTA is thrilled to partner with Unibet to provide free rides home from the NFC Championship Game," said SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards. "This is such an exciting time for our city and region, and SEPTA will be ready on Sunday with extra service for fans. We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure, and convenient."

Eagles fans can connect with the Broad Street Line from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall.

The Broad Street Line is also just a short walk from Regional Rail Stations in Center City, and extra Regional Rail service scheduled for the Auto Show this weekend can also accommodate Eagles fans.

Additional Regional Rail service will run on the Warminster, West Trenton, Media/Wawa, and Trenton Lines.

The Broad Street Line is also easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans from South Jersey.
