Slain Standout Philly Student-Athlete Identified, $20K Reward Offered
Philadelphia Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Noah Scurry's killer.
PHILADELPHIA — The slain teenager who had recently earned the best SAT score among his peers at his Philadelphia high school has been identified by police.
Police said Noah Scurry, 17, of the 5000 block of Rorer Street, was killed Tuesday morning.
The gunman, or gunmen, is at large and a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to their arrest and conviction.

Scurry was reportedly leaving his home on Rorer Street with his mother at about 7:15 a.m. when he was shot. He was heading to his school, Samuel Fels High School.
Police were called to the area for a report of a man with a gun and found Scurry suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:37 a.m.
