Teen With School's Highest SAT Score Killed In Shooting
A 17-year-old student at Samuel Fels High School, who scored the highest among his colleagues on the SAT, was fatally shot Tuesday morning.
PHILADELPHIA — A standout student-athlete at a Philadelphia High School was fatally shot Tuesday morning, according to reports.
Killed was a 17-year-old Samuel Fels High School student, NBC10 reports.

The boy was leaving for school with his mother when he was shot at about 7 a.m. on the 5000 block of Rorer Street, according to Fox 29.
Fels Principal Melissa Rasper said in a letter to the school community that the student, who has not been named, had just earned the highest SAT score among his fellow students and was on the school's basketball team, Action News reports.

No arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting.
Anyone who has information on the shooting should contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-8477. A $20,000 reward is offered for information leading to arrests and convictions in all Philadelphia homicide cases.
