Teens Sought In Beating Death Of 73-Year-Old Man: Philly Police

Seven teenagers, four boys and three girls, are accused of beating a man so severely that he died the next day from head injuries.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are looking for seven young people who beat a 73-year-old man to death in June and are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to their arrest and conviction.

According to police, the four boys and three girls seen above attacked the victim on the 2100 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue at about 2:38 a.m. on Friday, June 24.

Police said the teens hit the man several times with objects, knocking him to the ground.

The man suffered head injuries and died from those injuries on Saturday, June 25, police said.

Police described the suspects only as four black males and three black females in their early to mid-teens.
