Eagles Super Bowl Parade Is Thursday: Time, Parade Route, More
It's official: the first ever Eagles Super Bowl victory parade will take place on Thursday morning. See route details here.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — It's official: the first ever Eagles Super Bowl victory parade will take place on Thursday morning, beginning at 11 a.m., the city announced Monday. The parade will start at Broad and Pattison streets and head north through the city, eventually ending at the Art Museum.
Further details are set to be announced Tuesday morning, officials said. The expected route will take the celebration from the stadium area all the way up Broad Street to City Hall, and will then turn left onto the Parkway.
The Eagles parade will be the first major professional sports championship parade in Philadelphia since the Phillies won the World Series in 2008. There was also a parade for the Villanova men's basketball team when they won the NCAA Championships in 2016.

Parade plans were likely influenced by inclement weather. Rain and snow could come through the region on Wednesday, the day on which the parade is rumored to be planned.

"For so many who have called themselves Eagles fans for a generation, this is the day, the game, the season, and the team we've dreamed of," Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said in a statement Sunday following the win.
>>Eagles Defeat Patriots To Win First Ever Super Bowl
The Eagles defeated the Patriots 41-33 on Sunday night in Minneapolis in an intense, back and forth, offensive oriented affair that seemed like it could either way until the final minute.
The game's hero was underdog backup quarterback Nick Foles, who took the reins from Carson Wentz after the rookie star's injury earlier in the year and never looked back. After a good performance against the Falcons and a dominant performance against the Vikings in the NFC Championship, Foles turned in another stellar performance on Sunday, completing 28 of 43 pass attempts for 373 total yards and three touchdowns. And, in one of the more unusual moments in recent Super Bowl memory, he even caught a touchdown pass.
