$100K Reward Offered For Info On Chesco Woman's Beating Death

A reward of $100,000 is being offered for information in the brutal 2016 slaying.

BERWYN, PA – A reward of $100,000 is being offered for information in the brutal 2016 slaying of a Chester County woman.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a the reward for information on the 2016 death of Denise Barger, 62, of Berwyn, according to 6ABC.

The commission and Tredyffrin Township police are asking anyone in the public who may have information on Barger's death to come forward.

Barger was found dead in her home at 970 Heatherstone Drive in Berwyn at about 9:04 a.m. on June 17, 2016.

Officers had come the home after Barger's brother asked police to check up on her.

The medical examiner's report ruled her death a homicide by blunt force trauma.

Authorities believe Barger, who was widowed a few months before her death, was targeted.
