2 Dead in Chesco After Icy Conditions Lead to Accidents: Reports

Icy conditions on Wednesday morning caused two fatal accidents in Chester County.

Two people were reportedly killed in Chester County on Wednesday morning as icy roads led to hazardous conditions throughout the region.

The Daily Local News reports that there were fatalities in both Honey Brook and and East Brandywine townships. Both accidents occurred before 8 a.m.

The first incident occurred near the intersection of Route 322 and Cupola Road in Honey Brook at about 6:24 a.m., the report states. A man in his 50's was killed.

The second accident occurred on Little Washington Road in East Brandywine at 7:45 a.m., according to the report. Kathryn M. Brown, of West Caln, was killed at the scene, and a 9-year-old child was reportedly injured.
