7 People Charged After Sobriety Checkpoint In Chester County

A total of 751 vehicles were stopped at the recent sobriety checkpoint cracking down on drunk driving in Chester County.

WEST GOSHEN, PA — Local authorities announced the results of a recent drunk driving crackdown in Chester County.

The sobriety checkpoint was held on Friday, Sept. 13 on the 1000 block of West Chester Pike.

A total of 751 vehicles were stopped at the checkpoint, police said.

Of that group, a dozen were tested in the field for possible intoxication. Seven of them were arrested.

All of the arrested individuals were between the ages of 19 and 23.

Beyond DUI, other charges included underage drinking and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
