Assaults / Man Arrested 4 Times In 48 Hours: Police Reports

Public drunkenness, assaults, shots fired: check out a recent series of police reports in Phoenixville from early August.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Police Department has issued a series of police reports covering the second week of August, from Aug. 7 to Aug. 14.

Incidents included numerous assaults and fights, a report of shots fired, and several cases of public drunkenness.

  • On 08/08/2017 at 4:38AM, Officer Anthony Gray stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Nutt Road. The driver, Michael Drupp and passenger Taylor Lawler, both of Boyertown were arrested for the possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine. Passenger Jason Willman also of Boyertown was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
  • On 08/09/2017 at 12:49AM, officers responded to the Prima Motel and Lounge for a fight in progress and were informed that the individuals left in a gold van. Sgt. David Gold stopped the van at Gay Street and Third Avenue. The driver Robert Keeper Jr. was arrested for the possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • On 08/09/2017 at 2:39AM, officers responded to the report of an assault in the 700 block of W. Bridge Street. The victim, a 21 year old male from Phoenixville, refused medical treatment and declined to cooperate with the investigation.
  • On 08/09/2017 at 4:30PM, police responded to a car fire at Enterprise Car Rental on Nutt Road. Phoenixville Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.
  • On 08/09/2017 at 4:57PM, Officer Anthony Duchnosky arrested Jesse Brown of Phoenixville at North Street and Penn Street on an outstanding Chester County bench warrant.
  • On 08/10/2017 at 4:45AM, Robert Walker, 64 of Phoenixville was issued a citation for public drunkenness in the unit block of South Second Avenue.
  • On 08/10/2017 at 6:22PM, Dustin Gnias, 31 was arrested and charged with simple assault following a disturbance at his residence in the 100 block of E. Phoenix Drive. Gnias was sent to Chester County Prison after he was unable to post bail.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 12:24AM, Necole Casalena 21, of Phoenixville was issued a citation for public drunkenness in the 200 block of Bridge Street.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 1:13 AM, Officer Jason Komorowski located two males drinking beer on the railroad tracks by Columbia Station. The men were issued a warning and sent on their way.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 2:09AM, Officer Nick Heller observed a fight in progress at Main Street and Church Street. Officer Heller determined that Jose Gutierrez 20 of Phoenixville initiated the fight and Gutierrez was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 2:21AM, Isiah Tillman 35 of Phoenixville was arrested for public drunkenness after causing a disturbance in the 200 block of Bridge Street. During the incident, Nicholas Carter 23 of Collegeville yelled expletives at the police and interfered with the arrest. Carter was also arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 5:04PM, Isiah Tillman was arrested for public drunkenness at Marshall Street and St. Mary’s Street following a disturbance in the 200 block of Emmett Street unrelated to the incident earlier that day.
  • On 08/12/2017 at 10:31PM, officers responded to a report of gunshots fired in the 300 block of High Street but were unable to locate the source of the noise.
  • On 08/13/2017 at 11:55AM, Renee Famous 53 of Phoenixville was issued a citation for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Hall Street.
  • On 08/13/2017 at 11:36PM, Officer Nick Heller arrested Kory Vannoy 45 of Phoenixville for prowling and harassment in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue.
  • On 08/14/2017 at 12:23AM, Isiah Tillman was arrested again for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after refusing to leave the Prima Lounge on W. Bridge Street.
  • On 08/14/2017 at 9:50PM, Isiah Tillman was arrested for the fourth time in 48 hours for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct near the entrance to Riverworks on N. Main Street.
