Bridge Street Reopens Following Flooding In Phoenixville
Breaking: Flooding led to road closures in Phoenixville Thursday evening.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Flooding led to multiple road closures in Phoenixville for a time Thursday evening.
Bridge Street was shut down between Hall and Taylor Alley, while Church Street is shut down at Gay Street. The roads were reopened within a few hours.
Flooding hit several major roadways in the region, including portions of Routes 422, 100, 724, and others. Dozens of water rescues were underway around the area as of 7 p.m.

Schulylkill Township Police warned that flooding was either underway or highly likely on Valley Park Road, Whitehorse Road, Jug Hollow Road, Creek Road, Pothouse Road, and West and East Evergeen roads.
