Car Crashes Into Building On Egypt Road

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A vehicle damaged a local business on Egypt Road Friday morning when it crashed into the storefront. No one was injured in the incident.

The accident occurred at around 10 a.m. on the 2600 block in Lower Providence, authorities said.

It's not yet clear what caused the car, a tan sedan, to lose control, but it smashed into the brick and glass of dry cleaner's, authorities said.

Lower Providence Fire Department responded to the scene and helped clear the glass and help the individuals inside get out.

Lower Providence Township Code Enforcement and an area board-up company then arrived on the scene for further clean-up and inspection.
