Cat Rescued From House Fire In Phoenixville Monday Night
Firefighters battled a blaze on Church Street in Phoenixville on Monday evening.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Firefighters battled a blaze on Church Street in Phoenixville on Monday evening, ultimately extinguishing it and rescuing a cat from the property.
The incident occurred on the 300 block of Church Street at around 8 p.m., fire officials said.
When crews arrived at the scene, heavy smoke was coming out of the house, officials said.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and aired the smoke out of the house.
A cat was found under a bed in the house and safely removed by firefighters. He was uninjured.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
