Chester County Launches 'Smart 911' Program

The Chester County Department of Emergency Services has launched Smart911, a free system that provides key information to the 911 center when you call.

By signing up for Smart911 and creating a safety profile, officials hace instant access to vital information when citizens call.

Calltakers can then forward the necessary information to emergency responders.

Some vital information includes: household information, medical information, relevant information about your location, and background information such as vehicles, pets, or any other special circumstances.
