Credit Cards, ID Stolen During Movie At Colonial Theatre

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a credit card thief who struck moviegoers at the Colonial Theatre recently.

The incident occurred on Oct. 26 sometime before 11 p.m., authorities said.

The woman pictured above stole the credit cards and identification from the victim's purse during the movie, police said.

The suspect was seated next to the victim during the movie, and replaced the wallet in the purse after stealing the cards from inside it, according to authorities.

The suspect left the theatre with a male companion before the movie was over.

The stolen credit cards were then used at numerous locations around King of Prussia and Philadelphia, police said.
