Crews Battle Overnight Apartment Fire In Mont Clare

MONT CLARE, PA — In the early hours of Tuesday morning. firefighters battled a blaze at an apartment in Mont Clare.

The incident was first reported sometime around 3 a.m. in the Meadows Condominium Association, located on the 400 block of Meadowview Lane, just a block off Egypt Road.

Firefighters identified the apartment of origin and were able to contain the blaze to that apartment, according to officials.

Heavy smoke and flames were visible coming from the top of the building at the top of the fire.

The blaze was extinguished quickly and firefighters said they cleared the scene within two hours.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
