An investigation is ongoing, but drugs or alcohol were not a factor, police said.

This incident marks the second fatal traffic accident at this intersection involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle, police said. Authorities said the two cases were "nearly identical."

A GoFundMe campaign for Collins' funeral has been launched. A total of $970 had been raised as of Wednesday morning.

In addition to his three children, Collins is survived by his wife, who is pregnant with their fourth child.

"We had no savings and no arrangements and all of our money has gone into preparing for our little bundle of joy," she wrote on the GoFundMe page.
