Firefighters Respond To Smoke Filling East Vincent Wawa

Local firefighters responded to the Wawa in East Vincent Tuesday night, where smoke was reported throughout the building.

EAST VINCENT, PA — Local firefighters responded to the Wawa in East Vincent Tuesday night, where smoke was reported throughout the building.

The incident occurred at the store on the 3300 block of Schuylkill Road in the early evening hours.

When crews arrived on scene they found no fire, but were able to trace the smoke to a malfunctioning heater unit on the roof.

Crews cleared smoke from the building and the all clear was called.

Liberty Fire Co. was assisted by units from Royersford, Rdige, Linfield, and Kimberton at the scene.
