"Officer Gori is what this narrator would refer to as a "cop's cop;" Officer Gori was always good for a laugh or a story, but when you are heading to a potentially dangerous call, he is someone you would be glad to hear on the radio coming to back you up," Lansdale police said in a social media post.

Gori was a crucial part of the one of the largest drug busts in Montgomery County history in 2011 when he helped seize over 200 pounds of marijuana, valued at approximately $223,000.

Happy retirement, Officer Gori.
