KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Multiple individuals were evacuated and a dozen were hospitalized after a spill at a mushroom plant in Chester County on Wednesday, according to authorities.

Chester County Working Fires reported that the incident occurred at around 12:15 p.m. at a mushroom plant in Kennett Township.

Hazmat crews were dispatched to the scene.
