Hit And Run Crash At Colonial Theatre Resolved

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A hit and run incident involving damaged property behind the Colonial Theatre earlier this month has been resolved, police said.

The incident occurred on Feb. 1 in Taylor Alley.

A U.S. Foods truck driver, a 28-year-old man from Bethlehem, smashed into the fire escape of the Theatre that is in the alley, police said. He then drove away.

A resident of Mill Street provided police with video footage of the incident, allowing authorities to track down the suspect.

The man was cited for a hit and run. U.S. Food will pay the Theatre for the damages.
