House Fire Extinguished In Phoenixville Sunday
Crews responded to the scene of a kitchen fire that was "rapidly spreading" and they were able to cut it off.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A house fire was extinguished in Phoenixville on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred on the 400 block of Anderson Avenue just before 10 a.m., officials said.
The kitchen fire was "rapidly spreading" when crews arrived at the one-story home.

Crews were able to halt the fire in the kitchen, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the house.
Within a few minutes of arrival, the fire was under control, the fire department said.
